Short description
Kasan Kurosu is a Kakuro game for people who want to get better at Kakuro. Every puzzle has exactly one solution reachable by logic, hints name the technique you are missing instead of revealing digits, and difficulty tiers are defined by the techniques each puzzle needs. There are no ads; Pro is a single one-time purchase.
Longer description
Kakuro, also called Cross Sums, is a crossword of numbers: each clue is the total of a run of cells, and no digit repeats within a run. Kasan Kurosu brings it to the web, iPhone, iPad and Android with the same puzzles everywhere. Puzzles come in three types: Classic grids, quick Mini grids and hand-drawn Shaped grids, across five tiers from Gentle to Expert.
Its hints work like a patient teacher. The first step names the technique and points at the run, the second outlines the cells, and the third explains the deduction in two sentences. After each solve, the game shows the puzzle's key step, so its difficulty label can be checked. A daily puzzle follows a weekly arc from Gentle on Monday to Expert on Sunday, with streaks that forgive a missed day.
